Haul Truck Operators

FULL-TIME — MULTIPLE POSITIONS

CENTRAL QUEENSLAND

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are hiring multiple experienced Haul Truck Operators to join our growing fleet across Central Queensland coal mine sites. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of haul trucks in an open-cut mining environment, working as part of a production team on a rotating roster.

POSITION DUTIES

Operate rear dump haul trucks (Cat 777, 785, 789 or equivalent) safely and efficiently

Follow designated haul routes, speed limits, and traffic management plans

Complete daily pre-start inspections and report defects promptly

Maintain radio communication with dispatch, supervisors, and other operators

Achieve shift production targets while prioritising safety at all times

Assist with general site duties as required during downtime

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years haul truck operating experience in open-cut mining

Current QLD Standard 11 (or equivalent) Generic Mining Induction

Competency tickets for relevant haul truck class (Cat 777/785/789 or equivalent)

Understanding of traffic management plans and mine site rules

Ability to work a rotating roster (7/7, 4/3, or similar FIFO/DIDO arrangements)

Current manual driver's licence

Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
