Looking for a customer-facing role that's more active than sitting behind a desk all day?
PACK & SEND Joondalup is looking for a reliable, capable person to join our team in a permanent full-time Customer Sales & Freight Operations role.
You'll work directly with customers, prepare freight quotes, follow up sales opportunities, solve shipping problems and coordinate jobs through our freight operation.
This is not a desk-only customer service or call-centre role.
During the day you'll move between the customer counter and our operations area, use multiple computer systems, measure and weigh parcels and move ordinary packages short distances.
If you enjoy working with customers but also like being busy, organised and on your feet, this could be a great fit.
No freight experience is required. We provide structured, step-by-step training.

What You'll Do
Your typical day will involve:
- speaking with customers by phone, email and face-to-face
- preparing accurate quotes using our freight systems
- understanding what customers need to send and recommending suitable freight solutions
- processing over-the-counter sales
- following up quotes and converting enquiries into bookings
- coordinating jobs with our freight operations team
- tracking deliveries and keeping customers informed
- accurately recording information across email, CRM and freight systems
- following established procedures and checklists
- measuring, weighing and handling everyday parcels and freight
- escalating unusual or high-risk matters rather than guessing
Who Will Do Well Here?
We're looking for someone who is reliable, switched-on and comfortable taking responsibility for their work.
You'll probably enjoy this role if you:

- are confident using computers and switching between different screens, tabs and systems

- are comfortable working around parcels, boxes and freight
- can work independently once trained
- are looking for a stable, long-term full-time position
Experience in trade counter sales, automotive or parts sales, hardware/building supplies, equipment hire, structured retail operations, logistics, customer sales, sales support or similar customer-facing environments would be particularly relevant.
You do not need previous freight or logistics experience. We'll teach you our systems, carriers, quoting processes and freight knowledge.

Hours & Requirements
This is a permanent full-time position based at our Joondalup Service Centre.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.
Applicants must be available for these hours and have Australian work rights suitable for ongoing full-time employment.
