The Travel Shop is seeking a lead Web Designer, starting immediately!

Location & Contract

Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, Queensland.

Full-time on-site preferred, with options for remote work after probation.

Your Role

Lead the transition to designing innovative websites
Collaborate with a dynamic team, in-person and remote
Improve existing designs including website design, UX, logos, graphics and branding elements (experience in prints ideal)
Organize creative assets through project management software Asana, updating campaign statuses, turnaround times and allocation of team responsibilities as required
High level of responsiveness and collaborative work style

Your Profile

A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience
2 years of experience in Web Graphic Design
Understanding of responsive web design, UX and UI
Experience in the travel industry preferred
Fluent in spoken and written English
Competent multitasker, able to work autonomously and collaboratively on simultaneous creative projects
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and similar design programs
Strong capabilities in designing logos, banners and infographics
Works well with developers to convert your designs into code
A keen interest in dynamic web design

Further Skills (preferred but not essential)

Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS
Basic knowledge of Javascript/Typescript or any other front and back-end languages
