The Opportunity
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll be joining a supportive and growing team where you'll have the opportunity to develop your finance and accounts receivable career.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers and being part of a team that is focused on continuous improvement. You'll play an important role in helping us manage customer accounts, allocate payments and support the day-to-day operations of our Accounts Receivable function.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing daily bank receipts and accurately allocating customer payments
- Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with the resolution of discrepancies
- Contacting customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment commitments
- Assisting customers with account enquiries and providing a high level of service
- Maintaining accurate customer records and account notes
- Supporting billing and general accounts receivable administration activities
- Working closely with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related issues
- Contributing to process improvements and supporting our ongoing finance transformation journey
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to learn and grow. Previous Accounts Receivable experience is welcome, but just as important is your enthusiasm, willingness to learn and commitment to delivering great outcomes for customers and the business.
- Previous experience in Collections, Billings, Banking, Finance Administration, Retail Banking or a similar finance administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and internal stakeholders
- A willingness to learn new systems, processes and ways of working
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to support others
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- An interest in building a long-term career within Finance and Accounts Receivable
