At Sydney Metro, you will have the opportunity to work on Australia's largest public transport infrastructure program while collaborating with some of the industry's leading project delivery, engineering and risk professionals.
We are interested in candidates who have supported risk management outcomes on major infrastructure, engineering, construction or capital delivery programs. Experience in quantitative risk analysis, project controls, forecasting, contingency planning, interface management or risk modelling will be highly regarded.
In this role, you'll:
Working within the Sydney Metro project team, you will lead and support project risk management activities across major infrastructure delivery packages, helping project teams proactively identify, analyse and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with project delivery, planning, commercial and project controls teams to ensure risk insights contribute to informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading risk identification, assessment and treatment activities across major project work packages.
- Facilitating risk workshops and engaging with project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
- Supporting quantitative risk analysis activities, including cost and schedule risk assessments.
- Maintaining project risk registers, reporting and governance processes.
- Providing practical risk advice to support project delivery and decision-making.
- Supporting the integration of risk management with planning, project controls, cost and schedule functions.
- Managing interface and integration risks across complex delivery environments.

About You
You are an experienced project risk professional with a proven track record supporting the delivery of major infrastructure, engineering, construction or complex capital programs.
You understand how risk influences cost, schedule and delivery outcomes and can translate analysis into practical advice for project teams and stakeholders.

To be successful, you will demonstrate experience in:
- Major infrastructure or capital project risk management.
- Quantitative risk assessment activities such as QCRA, QSRA or comparable methodologies.
- Risk modelling software such as ARM, @RISK, Safran Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis or similar platforms.
- Project delivery, PMO, planning, commercial or project controls environments.
- Managing interface and integration risks across multiple stakeholders, contracts, projects, work packages or programs.
- Facilitating workshops and influencing stakeholders to support risk-informed decision-making.
