In this role, you will:
Support the planning, delivery and monitoring of projects to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and aligned to agreed quality and scope requirements. Working closely with program and project managers, you will coordinate project activities, prepare reports and documentation, monitor project performance, and support financial and risk management.
You will engage with a range of stakeholders to facilitate collaboration, coordinate working groups and consultations, and provide research and analysis to support informed decision-making. Success in this role requires strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration and inclusion.
This role reports into the Manager, Technology Innovation & Partnerships.
Note – internally this role has the official job title of ‘Tech Delivery Officer’.

About You
For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:
Minimum of 3+ years performing in a similar role (as outlined above). You may have worked as a Project Officer, Project Coordinator, Data Support Officer, Business Analyst, and/or worked within a research & design analysis type role
Proven ability to work effectively within highly regulated environment where adherence to compliance, quality assurance and audit requirements are critical
You’re naturally curious, a team player who has a strong learning mindset, you’re adaptable, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement. You are tenacious, respectful, and you have a collaborative approach to solving problems and delivering outcomes
Ability to interpret technical information and translate complex concepts into clear, accessible communications for diverse audiences
Relevant tertiary qualifications at degree level
Nice to Haves:
Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2®, PMP®, Agile or equivalent)
Experience using business process management and process modelling tools to document, analyse and optimise business processes (e.g. Signavio, Visio, BPMN, or similar)
Experience working across technology and/or innovation
This is a permanent role. This role is based in a hybrid environment, with 50% of your time spent in the office. You will typically work five days per month from our Burwood office and a further five days from another TfNSW office location (typically Parramatta, Macquarie Park, and/or CBD). To support team collaboration though, you will ideally be based in the Burwood office every Wednesday.
This is a Grade 7 role, paying between $124,810.00 - $139,787.00 + super. The grade level will be assessed based on your relevant skills, experiences, capabilities, and qualifications etc.
