Total Tools Wollongong is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

This position will suit a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service. We're looking for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, building relationships, and finding the right solution for every need. If you're motivated by achieving results and thrive in a supportive team environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

Delivered exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs and recommending tailored product solutions.
Generated sales through consultative selling techniques, strong product knowledge, and proactive customer engagement.
Maximised opportunities through upselling and cross-selling complementary products and accessories.
Built and maintained strong customer relationships, driving repeat business and customer loyalty.
Resolved customer enquiries and objections by providing practical solutions and expert product advice.
Managed the end-to-end sales process, from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment and after-sales support.
Maintained visually appealing merchandise displays that increased product visibility and supported sales growth.
Utilised point-of-sale, inventory, and ordering systems to support efficient sales operations.
Collaborated with team members to achieve store sales targets and deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Experience in retail, sales, trade, or customer-facing environments with a focus on achieving results.
Skilled at understanding customer needs and recommending solutions that create value.
Confident communicator who can influence purchasing decisions through product knowledge and a consultative approach.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address customer questions and resolve concerns effectively.
Comfortable using technology, point-of-sale systems, and digital tools to support sales and customer service activities.
Available for weekdays, weekends, and some public holiday work
