An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Appraiser/Buyer to join our high-performing Pre-Owned Sales team at Mercedes-Benz Adelaide & Unley.
This is a dynamic role is suited to someone with strong market knowledge, an eye for value, and a passion for sourcing high-quality vehicles while contributing to a profitable and growing department.

About the role

Represent Mercedes-Benz professionally across local and interstate dealer networks
Source, purchase and appraise vehicles to support profitable pre-owned stock levels
Generate leads through multiple channels including online platforms and Service customer engagement
Conduct accurate and timely valuations of trade-in vehicles for new and pre-owned departments
Maintain and review vehicle appraisals, ensuring re-valuations occur within required timeframes
Collaborate closely with the Pre-Owned Sales Manager to meet stock and pricing requirements
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and online auctions (including interstate markets)
Attend and participate in auctions and tenders to support wholesale and retail vehicle activity
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including wholesale agents, to manage stock flow
Ensure compliance with company policies, maintain high presentation standards, and escalate financial risks appropriately

About you

Previous experience in automotive sales, buying or appraisal (highly regarded)
Mechanical knowledge or automotive background (advantageous)
A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism
Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Passion for the automotive industry
Current driver’s licence (required)
Ability to complete a police check (required)
