We are looking for a Functional Tester to support a large programme of work, delivering functional and integration testing for Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) within a data centre lift‑and‑shift migration. This role is focused on ensuring that billing processes, customer lifecycle activities, and system integrations continue to operate seamlessly post‑migration, with no changes to existing functionality or platform design.
- Execute functional and integration testing for Oracle CC&B following a lift‑and‑shift migration
- Validate end-to-end CC&B business processes, including customer setup, metering, billing, invoicing, adjustments, and payments
- Test integrations between CC&B and upstream/downstream systems (e.g. metering, finance, reporting, data extracts, batch and interface processes)
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, and migration cutover validation activities
- Verify billing calculations, batch processing, schedules, and reconciliation outputs before and after migration
- Ensure data integrity across migrated CC&B datasets, including customer, account, and billing information
- Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with CC&B SMEs, integration teams, and infrastructure teams to support resolution
- Contribute to test evidence, defect reporting, and go‑live readiness assessments for CC&B workloads
- Proven experience as a Functional Tester working with Oracle CC&B.
- Strong understanding of CC&B functional modules, billing cycles, batch processing, and interfaces.
- Experience testing integration‑heavy environments, including batch jobs, interfaces, and downstream reporting.
- Solid understanding of lift‑and‑shift testing principles (minimal change, continuity‑focused validation).
- Experience with SIT, regression testing, and cutover support in enterprise environments.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around billing accuracy and reconciliation.
- Clear documentation and defect management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in utilities or regulated environments.
- Exposure to CC&B integrations with finance, metering, or analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or similar.

This role requires you to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week within our Melbourne office.
