Joining the Monadelphous Summer Vacation Program is the start of something much bigger than just your future; we believe you could change the future of the industry and we genuinely believe that gaining work experience as part of your studies is a crucial first step. Embark on a dynamic 12-week journey to launch your career. As an undergraduate, you'll work on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in Commercials & Contracts.

Our Summer Vacation Program offers you a unique opportunity to fast-track your career with hands-on experience and strong support. As an undergraduate, you will have:

Opportunity to work gaining practical experience.
Ongoing support from a Divisional Contracts Manager and Graduate buddy.
Benefit from regular catch-ups with the Graduate Team and the chance to network with peers.
Develop leadership skills and contribute to real-world projects that drive innovation within the industry.

Key responsibilities could include:

Understanding the scope and commercial responsibilities of the Contracts function.
Learning to interpret and apply head contract and subcontract terms.
Contributing to the procurement and subcontracting process.
Assist in supporting and managing subcontractor performance and compliance.
Learn to identify, assess and administer variations and claims.
Understand cost control, payment processes and commercial reporting.
Build professional communication and negotiation skills.

What you’ll bring:

Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency.
Must be studying or have completed an Undergraduate Degree (Bachelor’s) in Australia within the following areas: Business, Commerce, Law or Construction Management.
Previous work experience within your chosen field through internships or equivalent is highly desirable.
A passion for the work we do and the desire to gain hands-on experience.
