Role Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Assembler to join our team based at Edinburgh Parks, SA, working an afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electronic assemblies, boards and wiring looms within a fast-paced defence production environment. You will follow detailed work instructions, maintain high quality standards, and collaborate with the team to deliver reliable electronic components.

Core Duties:

Assembly of complex electronic components, PCBs and wiring looms to defence standards

Hand solder components with precision Maintain safety, quality, and tool care in a fast-paced environment

Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration

Comply with BAE Systems Safety, Health and Environment procedures with the requirements of the BAE Systems’ Quality systems as they relate to respective areas of activity

Essential Skills:

Experience in complex electronic assembly, Wiring looms and inspection (preferred but not essential)

Certification in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC 7711/7721 (desirable)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a defence manufacturing environment

Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain

Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations
