Our Real Estate & Property team is one of the most respected property practices in the market, delivering expert advice across residential, commercial, and retirement village transactions. Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Real Estate & Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside leading property solicitors on a broad range of conveyancing matters - from residential sales and purchases through to commercial and retirement village transactions.
In this role, you will:
- Manage residential, commercial, and retirement village conveyancing transactions from instruction through to settlement
- Prepare and review contracts for sale, transfer documents, and settlement statements
- Conduct title searches, property searches, and respond to requisitions on title
- Manage electronic settlements and lodgements through PEXA
- Coordinate all aspects of settlement, including liaising with other solicitors and stakeholders
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and maintaining strong relationships
- Assist with trust accounting tasks, including trust ledgers and reconciliation of settlement funds
This role offers genuine autonomy and variety, with the support of a collaborative, client-focused team.
More About You
We welcome applications from candidates who have demonstrated conveyancing experience (minimum 12 months) in a conveyancing or property law environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- the ability and desire to manage high volume and high quality work
- exceptional client service skills and responsiveness
- a keen eye for detail and exceptional time management and organisational skills
- an interest in AI and a willingness to contribute to process improvement
- strong IT skills
- a commitment to excellence that matches our own
- a proactive approach and positive attitude.
Please note this role is best suited to a career paralegal. Law students are encouraged to consider our clerkship and graduate programs.
