We are seeking to establish a pool of Level 2 School Officers for permanent and fixed term, part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Kalamunda SHS is ideally seeking suitable applicants who are adaptable, proactive and committed to ongoing learning and professional development. Suitable applicants should display professionalism, reliability and self-motivation, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a busy school environment. Well-developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are important, along with a strong customer service focus and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement.
Suitable applicants will ideally have relevant experience and have the ability to deliver a diverse range of high-quality administrative services. These may include, but are not limited to, reception and front office duties, processing student enrolments, managing attendance records, supporting financial operations, relief staff management and assisting with student engagement programs. Previous experience using Compass, Schools Information Systems (SIS), HRMIS, Reporting to Parents, RM Billing and RM Finance would be highly regarded but are not essential.

Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
