Full Job Description

At Ashurst Reach we have seen consistent demand from Ashurst clients seeking Construction and Projects lawyers in Brisbane. If you are a Construction/Projects lawyer with any of the following skills and you are a seasoned consultant/contract lawyer looking for a fresh approach, or a lawyer thinking of taking the leap to flex-working, get in touch with our Senior Talent Manager, Fiona Craig, to find out more.

Skills and Experience needed:

You are an experienced front-end construction lawyer
Your experience might include working on major infrastructure projects (eg road, rail, energy, renewables)
You have experience advising on structure and delivery of major contracts and can support commercial teams in identifying legal and risk issues throughout the project
Experience in advising government entities would be highly regarded
You have strong technical legal influencing, negotiation and drafting skills
You have strong legal project management and problem-solving skills
You have the ability to deal with difficult or abstract technical issues and changing priorities or situations by use of judgement
You have senior stakeholder engagement experience
You have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise
You have a minimum of 5 years' experience
You have a current practising certificate
You have the right to live and work in Australia
