MacKellar is expanding its operations near Nyngan and is looking for experienced Production Operators to support ongoing mining activities. This is an opportunity to work with a professional crew, operate a variety of heavy mining equipment, and build a long-term career with one of Australia's leading mining contractors.
The Opportunity
As a Multi-skilled Operator, you'll play a key role in maintaining production schedules and ensuring mining activities are carried out safely and efficiently. You'll work across a modern fleet and contribute to the success of a growing operation. Earning $65ph on a 7/7 rotating roster.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a range of mining equipment including Dozers, Graders and Haul Trucks
- Carrying out daily equipment inspections and safety checks
- Identifying and reporting mechanical faults or hazards
- Following site operational procedures and safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with production crews to meet operational objectives
- Maintaining a high standard of equipment care and housekeeping
What You'll Bring
- At least 12 months of experience in a mining production environment
- Proven operating experience on Haul Trucks, Dozers, and either Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders, or Excavators
- Relevant RII competencies and/or verifiable operating history
- Strong awareness of safe work practices and risk management
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced mining operation
