About the role and where you will be working:
Join a dynamic team where your expertise will directly shape financial performance and support meaningful outcomes across the organisation. In this business partnering role, you’ll work closely with service areas as a trusted advisor—bringing clarity to complex financial data, challenging thinking, and enabling smarter, more informed decision-making.
You’ll act as an internal consultant, combining financial insight with commercial acumen to drive performance, unlock opportunities, and build financial capability across the organisation.
This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home 1 or 2 days per week once approved by the manager.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Partner with service areas to build financial acumen and support informed, commercially sound decisions

Provide timely financial analysis, insights and reporting to drive performance improvement

Support budget development, forecasting, and ongoing performance monitoring

Investigate variances and identify actions to achieve budget outcomes

Develop dashboards and scenario planning to guide financial performance

Coach and influence budget holders to strengthen financial capability
-
Identify funding opportunities and support submission and acquittal processes

Collaborate across finance and operational teams to improve overall financial management practices
About you:
You’re a collaborative and values-driven finance professional who thrives in a partnering environment. You enjoy working closely with stakeholders, translating numbers into meaningful insights, and influencing better outcomes. With a naturally curious mindset, you ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and find practical solutions to complex challenges.
To be considered for this role you’ll need:

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

CPA or CA qualification
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance roles, including business partnering

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
-
Proven ability to influence and coach stakeholders to build financial acumen
-
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, practical insights
-
Experience building relationships and working cross-functionally
-
Experience in aged care, community health, or not-for-profit sectors
