What you’ll be doing:

Support the employee life cycle and onboarding of new employees across Australia and New Zealand

Assist with the general People & Capability projects and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in our customer service hotline on a rotating roster, providing timely and supportive assistance to internal stakeholders.

Compliance on right to work documentation and maintenance of employee files across NZ and Australia.

Coordination of pre-employment checks including management of medical bookings and police checks.

Maintain employee records and ensure the records are compliant with existing employee data management procedures.

Preparation of employment contracts and Change of Conditions letters with the use of Enterprise Agreement and Awards across Australia and New Zealand

Support and coordinate with different stakeholders (Hiring/ Reporting Manager, P&C Business Partner, Payroll Team, Organisational Management Team, Recruitment Team including Operations) to meet the requirements of Ventia’s projects/ contracts.
About you

Previous experience in a human resources/admin/compliance role or within a high-volume, transactional environment.

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work flexibly and adapt in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
