Senior Test Analyst- Datawarehouse and Reporting
Duration: 6 months/12 months FTC
KJR is seeking an experienced Data Test Analyst to join a high-profile data and reporting program. This role will focus on validating data quality, data migrations, reporting outputs, and business intelligence solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers, business stakeholders, data engineers, and project teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and execute test cases for functional, integration, system, regression and data testing.

Validate data transformations, source-to-target mappings, and migration activities.

Perform data reconciliation and data quality validation across multiple data sources.

Validate reports, dashboards, KPIs, and business reporting outputs.
-
Execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity.

Identify, log, track, and retest defects through to resolution.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.

Contribute to test planning, test execution, and test reporting activities.

Support Agile delivery teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.
Essential Experience:
-
3+ years' experience in software testing, data testing, quality assurance or test engineering roles.

Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and execute validation queries against relational databases.

Experience testing data warehouse, business intelligence, reporting, analytics or data platform solutions.

Experience validating data transformations, data migration activities, and source-to-target mappings.

Experience performing data reconciliation and data quality validation.
-
Experience creating and executing test cases across functional, integration, system, regression and data testing.

Experience validating reports, dashboards, metrics, and reporting outputs.

Understanding of data modelling concepts including star schemas, dimensions, facts, and semantic models.

Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira or similar test and defect management tools.
Highly Desirable:
-
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience testing Power BI reports, datasets, semantic models, and reporting solutions.

Experience working with Azure-based data platforms and cloud data solutions.

Experience supporting data warehouse migration or cloud transformation programs.

Experience developing or maintaining automation scripts for regression and data validation testing.

Exposure to TOSCA or other test automation tools.

ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification.
