You’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise in communication, problem-solving, empathy and conflict resolution to help thousands of people every day.
In this role, you'll:
This is a high-impact opportunity to provide strategic leadership across technology compliance, risk, and assurance within a complex and highly regulated transport environment.
You will lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide compliance frameworks, spanning technology risk, cyber security, privacy, and WHS, ensuring the organisation consistently meets regulatory, contractual, and internal obligations.
Operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, you will drive proactive assurance activities across internal operations and external service providers, strengthening audit readiness, ensuring safety and compliance outcomes, and enabling informed decision-making through high-quality insights and reporting.
A key focus of the role is leading internal and external audit coordination, ensuring accurate reporting, timely remediation, and effective closure of compliance gaps. You will also establish a risk-based audit and assurance program across suppliers and contractors, ensuring performance aligns with contractual obligations and operational risks are effectively managed.
You will provide authoritative advice to senior leaders and operational teams, guiding the interpretation and application of evolving regulatory requirements, standards, and frameworks. You will also play a critical role in embedding consistent practices across the organisation, aligning divisional activity with broader compliance, risk, and governance expectations.
The role will drive the development of robust compliance data, reporting, and monitoring frameworks, enabling evidence-based decision-making, transparency, and continuous improvement. You will champion a culture of safety, accountability, and compliance excellence, working across teams to build awareness, capability, and behavioural change.
