We’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. As our existing Allied Health team continues to do amazing work, our referral base keeps quickly growing, creating opportunities to expand our team.The position is suitable for experienced practitioners as well as recent graduates as we aim to tailor a caseload, supervision and training to our practitioners’ specific needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
The successful candidate will be given an opportunity to participate in improving other people’s lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred services, working with a range of clients across a range of care needs from short-term involvement, to complex, long-term needs. This will involve, but is not limited to:
- assessing, diagnosing and managing clients who present with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders;
- participation in complex multidisciplinary assessments (e.g. FASD);
- providing client support including clinic or home-based sessions, training and resource development;
- working with low and high tech ACC.
The successful applicant will be supported by other Allied Health clinicians in the NT as well as remotely by clinicians in other states. On the ground support will also be provided by the wider trans-disciplinary team of practitioners.
While our office base and primary work is in Darwin, we also offer a range of opportunities to work regionally (e.g. Katherine, Alice Springs) and within remote Indigenous communities. There is an option to work from home for administration / report writing.

Essential Requirements
- A degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
Highly Regarded
- Experience or interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
- Experience or interest in conducting Communication assessments, treatment planning and intervention for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of presentations; and Mealtime Management.
Desirable criteria for Senior Clinicians
- Experience in supervision and mentoring of staff
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement)
