About the role

Reporting to the Project Lead East, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of projects across the Fuels & Energy East portfolio. You will play a key role in leading project delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved across scope, schedule, cost, and quality, while supporting the broader line of business.

You will act as a central point of coordination across multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and clients, driving alignment and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning, execution, and delivery to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets
Establish and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships across all levels
Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets and financial performance
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring proactive risk identification and mitigation
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project resources
Ensure compliance with UGL HSE standards and champion a strong safety culture
Manage contract requirements, variations, and subcontractor performance
Provide accurate reporting on project progress, risks, and outcomes
Mentor and support project engineers and junior team members
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery

About you

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Project Management
10+ years’ experience in project delivery within oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
Strong experience in project execution, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
