Food & Beverage Attendant Grade 2 | Casual / Part Time / Full Time
The Watering Hole Tavern | Monbulk VIC

Pay Rate: $24.95 – $39.58 per hour + Superannuation + Applicable Penalties

The Watering Hole Tavern is seeking enthusiastic, reliable and customer focused Food & Beverage Attendants to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring guests receive outstanding service while supporting the day to day operations of the venue.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Deliver friendly and professional service to all guests
Create a welcoming atmosphere and build positive customer relationships
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
Maintain high presentation standards throughout the venue

Food & Beverage Service

Take food and beverage orders accurately
Deliver meals and drinks efficiently
Clear and reset tables
Maintain quality service standards during busy periods
Support all front of house operations where required

Point of Sale Operations

Operate POS systems and process transactions accurately
Handle cash and EFTPOS payments responsibly
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Maintain accurate records and receipts where required

General Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
Assist with stock replenishment and venue preparation
Work collaboratively with both front and back of house teams

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous hospitality experience preferred but not essential
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable transport preferred

Important Pay Information

The advertised pay range displayed is based on a Food & Beverage Attendant Grade 2 classification for an employee aged 20 years or older under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 [MA000009]. The lower end of the advertised range reflects the standard Full Time hourly rate, while higher rates may apply for Casual employment, weekends, public holidays, penalty rates and other applicable Award conditions. Actual pay rates may vary depending on employment type (Casual, Part Time or Full Time), age, classification level and Award entitlements.
