Role Overview:

As an Operations Manager at IMS Australia, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations, ensuring project efficiency, and leading teams to deliver high-quality results. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strategic planning, workforce management, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage mobile and fixed plant maintenance projects, ensuring timely execution and cost control.

Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance work culture.
Ensure compliance with Australian safety regulations, industry standards, and IMS Australia policies.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless project delivery.
Work closely with senior management to optimise resource allocation, budgeting, and workforce planning.
Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions to improve performance.

About You:

Proven experience in operations management, preferably in mining, maintenance, or industrial services.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
Experience overseeing mobile and fixed plant maintenance projects is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
Ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and profitability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
