About the Role
Our Exam Supervisors play a key role in following exam guidelines from both the NSW Department of Education for the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and the International Baccalaureate for the IB Diploma (IBDP). Exam Supervisors work throughout our school-based Trial Exams and our Final Exam blocks. This role is responsible for ensuring all our exam sessions are run with consistency and professionally for the school and our students. As an Exam Supervisor, responsibilities will include monitoring students, including assessing and responding to instances of misconduct, room set-up, verification of student identity, and the distribution, collection and validation of completed exam papers
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
- Be available for both trial and final exam periods and be committed to arriving on time for rostered shifts
- Be able to actively supervise exams, including standing for long periods of time and moving around the exam room
- Flexibility, including being willing to change allocated exam rooms, work later or fill in for absences
- Ability to carry out duties with attention to detail, confidentially and with discretion
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and school staff
- Ability to follow the relevant Presiding Officers instructions at all times.
All team members at CGS are required to have:
- Appropriate qualifications
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check; and
- Full working rights within Australia.
