Your New Role and Responsibilities
At Leidos Australia, our Matrix Engineering Team is a hub of technical excellence, supporting mission-critical programs across Defence, Intelligence, and Federal Government portfolios.
As a Storage Engineer, you will:

Manage and maintain enterprise storage and data protection platforms (NetApp and Commvault).

Design, implement, administer and upgrade storage infrastructure, including firmware and software.

Perform backup, restore and recovery activities to support operational and incident requirements.

Follow ITSM processes, including incident, problem management, post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.

Ensure storage services meet security, regulatory, quality and operational standards across the enterprise.
What You’ll Bring to Make an Impact

Substantial hands-on experience with NetApp storage technologies and Commvault data protection.

Proven experience administering large-scale enterprise storage and backup environments.

Demonstrated experience with storage capacity planning, utilisation and performance management (including AIQUM).

Strong background working in large enterprise or project-based engineering environments.

Relevant NetApp certifications or equivalent professional experience, with strong cloud infrastructure exposure (AWS, Azure or GCP).
