Associate/Technical Director – Project Leadership & Controls, Queensland

What you’ll do

As an Associate/Technical Director – Project Leadership & Controls, in our QLD Transport Team based in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions
Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance

What you’ll bring

As a proven leader with a passion for advancing infrastructure, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

Min. 15 years of experience in engineering, and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with a proven track record in roads and highways projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing team.
A forward-thinking approach, with a passion for sustainable, innovative engineering solutions.
A deep understanding of the transport sector, along with the ability to influence and shape the technical direction of projects.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
