Our Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate
Administration Assistant / Paralegal to work across our
Abuse Law practice, on a
permanent basis in our Perth CBD office, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:15am - 5:00pm.
Supporting senior abuse lawyers, you will support a range of litigated matters for claimants that have experienced institutional abuse. The role involves proactively providing chargeable support to these abuse law legal teams.
The Role
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence efficiently and with impeccable attention to detail.
- Preparing chronologies of historical records, drafting discovery and requesting evidence.
- Communicating information requests verbally and in writing to medical providers, insurers and other third parties in a professional and confident manner, following up requests as necessary.
- Accurately entering data for trail milestones into court systems.
- Providing high quality support to our legal team as required and assisting solicitors with diary management.
- Demonstrating a commitment to upholding the firm's core values and behavioural standards.
Your Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy including the ability to learn new systems and platforms.
- A high level of organisation, time management skills and the ability to work autonomously and to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team while following processes and direction from supervisors.
- The availability to work 38 hours per week from our Perth CBD office between the hours of 8:15am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
