Our purpose‑built clinic is co‑located with the Adelaide Veterinary Services & Referral Centre, creating one of the few sites in South Australia where general practice, emergency, and Dermatology referral services all operate under one roof. It’s an environment designed to support excellent medicine, strong collaboration, and continuous learning without the pressure to be everything on your own.

As a GP veterinarian here, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Practice high‑quality general practice medicine with strong clinical backup
Collaborate closely with emergency clinicians
Manage more complex or interesting cases while still working within GP hours
Learn organically through proximity to advanced care, imaging, and referral cases

The Clinic Environment

GVC is a modern, purpose‑built facility equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging including CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, and ultrasound, along with a dedicated emergency service operating 24/7 on site and a dermatology department.

Your Role

We’re looking for a veterinarian who enjoys general practice and is curious, thoughtful, and open to collaboration. Whether you’re purely GP‑focused or interested in blending GP with occasional emergency exposure, we’re open to shaping the role around what you enjoy and where you want to grow.

This can be:

Part‑time or full‑time
Flexible in how your week is structured
A GP role with optional crossover into emergency

You’ll be supported by a broader clinical network that values discussion, shared decision‑making, and continuity of care.

What We’re Looking For

A veterinarian eligible for registration in South Australia with 2 years of GP experience
An interest in high‑quality general practice medicine
A flexible, team‑oriented approach
Commitment to excellent patient care and clear client communication
Curiosity and motivation to keep learning and evolving clinically
