WSP Australia’s Water Business Group is growing. We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our VIC Water Utilities team. Whether you’re already leading complex delivery or ready for the next step, you’ll find the support, flexibility, and runway to thrive.

What You’ll Do

Work as part of a national multi-disciplinary team to deliver project goals.
Produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Undertake field and desktop investigations on existing electrical infrastructure for capital upgrades.
Prepare detailed documentation and specifications for electrical components to support procurement and delivery.
Liaise with project stakeholders including clients and vendors.
Apply technical and commercial acumen to achieve successful outcomes for projects and clients.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in design and delivery of projects in Water (ideal), mining, industrial or Energy sectors
12+ years’ experience in an engineering consultancy or design role for a contractor or asset owner (water industry preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered Engineer; RPEV certification
Design experience in LV and ELV systems, PLC/telemetry, PTW design, and Instrumentation and Control
Strong understanding of standards, conceptual and detailed design, and design management of electrical infrastructure
