About the role
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our team on a fixed term contract. You will serve as a pivotal HR support lead within Healthylife, acting as the primary point of contact for team member inquiries while collaborating with stakeholders within the wider Woolworths Group to ensure alignment of standards and consistent delivery of generalist HR functions.
What you’ll do

End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full talent acquisition process, from advertising on SEEK to screening and interviewing candidates.

Employee Lifecycle & Admin: Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, HRIS maintenance, and confidential employee records with high discretion.

Training & Development: Facilitate and track employee training, certifications (e.g., SuccessFactors, First Aid, specialist licensing), and traineeships.

Injury & Case Management: Act as the Return-to-Work Coordinator, managing workers' compensation cases alongside the Woolworths Group injury team.

Payroll & Compliance: Oversee weekly payroll approvals via a third-party provider, ensuring accurate time tracking and award compliance.

Group Collaboration & Advisory: Partner with Woolworths Group teams to deliver HR initiatives, salary reviews, engagement surveys, and employee relations guidance to managers.
What you’ll bring
-
1 year+ experience within a similar HR or Recruitment based role.

Prior experience using HR softwares (HRIS).

A sound understanding of HR practices, specifically recruitment, on-boarding & off-boarding.

Experience with national Workers Compensation practices and return-to-work coordination.

Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources is highly regarded.

Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with high computer literacy (ideally Google Drive) and a proactive, adaptable approach to team collaboration.
