As a result of a growing pipeline of work, Lycopodium is seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding Process Industries team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Manager of Projects, this pivotal role is responsible for the overall project delivery and its resources. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced professional with a strong track record in project management within the chemical, process, and manufacturing sectors.

The tasks you'll perform

Ensure all project activities are conducted in a manner that highly prioritises safety, environment, community and industrial relations
Communicate effectively with the client on matters that affect the project goals
Ensure overall schedules, budgets and target deliverables are achieved to a consistently high standard.
Manage the compilation and submission of the project progress report monthly or as required by the contract.
Manage all members of the project team in compliance with applicable project requirements and current industry work codes and standards.
Provide project support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing/business development activities as required.

The expertise you'll bring

10+ years of Project Management experience with strong exposure to the Chemical / Process / Manufacturing sectors
Proven experience in the management of Greenfield and Brownfield Projects
Strong technical background with a broad multi-disciplinary base processing, in the manufacturing, chemical, plant / infrastructure sectors
Demonstrated ability to direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to deliver critical project objectives.
Strong understanding and awareness of project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental, community and industrial relations issues.
Experience in Feasibility Study Management (desirable).
Relevant tertiary qualifications (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
