Join our team as a Project Surveyor
Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Project Surveyors to join our high-performing Survey & Inspection team on a permanent basis.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, representing the Survey & Inspection department to ensure survey manning levels, technical solutions, equipment choices and methodologies are current, efficient and executed to the highest professional standards.
The Project Surveyor often "owns" the survey side of a larger project, be that in decommissioning, diving and inspection survey activities or pure geophysical. This will including being involved from the initial project phase of tendering through to mobilisation, offshore execution and final handover of the survey deliverables to the client.
Reporting to the Survey & Geomatics Lead, work tasks will be mixed and varied including development of procedures, schedule planning and organisation of survey activities together with the department manager and other leading members of the team.
This role will be onshore, based in Perth, Western Australia, with travel offshore on a regular basis.

Requirements

Relevant university degree in hydrographic surveying, geoscience or similar (experience can compensate for lack of formal education).

Minimum 5-10 years' experience from offshore survey operations.

Senior Surveyor role and Party Chief experience required

Mid-level project management experience would be desirable but is not essential.

Enjoy working in a collaborative, often high-tempo environment where we share our success.

Digital competence and good experience in producing useful and clear content in various digital media and channels.

Both written and oral communication skills in English

Highly developed communication, cooperation, and presentation skills.

Ability to effectively prioritize and deliver within often tight deadlines.

Ability to be proactive and independent with complex project.

Experience in using EIVA Software, LBL systems, MBES, AUV, ROV, diving and inspection survey activities
