The Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onsite technical support and maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

At customers sites:

Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair of specialised equipment
Perform service maintenance
Actively engage in preventative maintenance visits, addressing breakdowns
Providing on-call support outside regular hours on a rotational basis
Prepare detailed job-related reports
Provide feedback, solutions, and initiatives to all key stakeholders.
Maintaining and improving customer relationships to foster collaboration, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Adhere to safety procedures and relevant environmental standards
Regards, Collecting data, performing tests and calculations, graphing results, and preparing charts and tabulations.
Estimating materials costs and quantities.
Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations.
Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements.
Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices.

About you:

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Trade qualification
Electrical License
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
Working experience in an electrical or automation discipline preferably with experience in the conveyors or automation.
Strong work ethic coupled with a high attention to detail
Strong mechanical aptitude
Outstanding customer service and ability to adjust your style based on the needs of the customer
Ability to work autonomously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge and experience using technology including mobile communications, applications, and other computer-based systems (MS, Email, Internet).
Hold a valid driver's license
