About the role
We're now seeking an exceptional leader to shape the future of our Building Operations function and ensure the infrastructure that underpins our life-giving mission remains safe, reliable and fit for the future,
Lead a nationally critical function at the intersection of strategy, infrastructure, operations and people leadership. As Head of Building Operations, you will define and execute the long-term strategy for Lifeblood's critical facilities and infrastructure portfolio, ensuring our Manufacturing Processing Centres and Logistics Distribution Centres continue to operate safely, efficiently and in line with evolving organisational needs.
Leading a geographically dispersed team of Building Services Managers, you will create a high-performing national function that delivers operational excellence today while building capability and resilience for tomorrow.
Working closely with senior leaders across Manufacturing & Logistics, Facilities, Quality and Operations, you will influence enterprise-wide decision-making, guide significant capital investment programs and drive the standardisation and optimisation of building operations across the network.
This role will play a key part in enabling organisational growth, managing risk and ensuring the continuity of critical services that support patients and healthcare providers across Australia.
What you’ll bring
You are a strategic and commercially minded leader with a proven track record leading complex infrastructure or critical facilities environments.
You bring the ability to balance long-term planning with operational execution and are known for building high-performing teams, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering outcomes through others.
You'll also bring:
- Significant leadership experience across multi-site operations or critical infrastructure environments
- Experience developing and executing strategy within complex, regulated organisations
- Strong commercial, financial and capital planning expertise
- Demonstrated success leading organisational and operational transformation
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or a related business discipline coupled with experience leading critical infrastructure or building operations function
- Experience within cGMP, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or similarly regulated environments is highly regarded
