You’ll make an impact by:
- Translating business needs into clear, technically actionable API requirements, artefacts and delivery outcomes
- Working closely with API engineers, architects and stakeholders to shape reusable enterprise services rather than one-off integrations
- Supporting the prioritisation and delivery of API initiatives aligned to enterprise strategy and platform capability
- Analysing business processes, customer journeys and domain requirements to identify integration opportunities and dependencies
- Producing high-quality technical documentation that improves delivery clarity, consistency and long-term maintainability
- Supporting teams to make informed trade-offs that balance speed, quality, scalability and sustainability
- Advocating for API reuse and standardisation to reduce duplication and technical debt across the enterprise
- Contributing to planning, governance and continuous improvement activities across the API delivery lifecycle

This isn’t a traditional business analyst role focused purely on gathering requirements. You’ll operate at the intersection of business strategy, platform capability and modern integration delivery.
You’ll work closely with API engineers, architects and cross-functional technology teams to shape services that are reusable, scalable and aligned to enterprise direction. That means understanding both the business context and the technical implications of delivery decisions.
You’ll help move the organisation away from bespoke integrations and towards shared enterprise services that create long-term value across digital, workflow, data and AI capabilities.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role within technology or integration environments
- Strong understanding of APIs, integration concepts and modern delivery practices
- Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical artefacts and actionable delivery outcomes
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across complex environments
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to detail and clarity
- Experience supporting prioritisation, planning and delivery activities within Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Understanding of enterprise platforms, reusable service models and integration patterns
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence outcomes and support cross-functional delivery teams
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Information Technology or a related discipline
