The Role
As Manager, Parking Patrol you will lead a team of Parking Officers responsible for delivering fair, consistent and professional parking compliance services across Waverley LGA.
Reporting to Executive Manager, Compliance, you will provide leadership, operational oversight and strat3gic direction to the Parking Patrols team. The role will include, but not limited to:

Managing day-to-day parking patrol operations and service delivery
- Ensuring compliance activities are undertaken fairly, consistently and in accordance with legislation and Council policies
- Responding to complex customer enquiries, complaints and escalations
- Promoting customer – focused approach that balances education with enforcement
- Monitoring team performance, productivity and service standards
- Building positive relationships with residents, businesses, visitors and key stakeholders
About you

Tertiary qualifications in public administration, law enforcement, transport management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in parking enforcement, local government or compliance related roles.
- Proven experience in team management, leadership, or supervision in a regulatory environment
- Knowledge of NSW Parking Laws, regulations, and local Council policies
- Understanding of court procedures for handling parking infringements and disputes
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations is desirable.
- 5-10 years’ experience as a Manager, Parking Patrol/ Servies or Manager Regulatory Services in a local government organisation is desirable.
- Effective communication and public relations skills
- Proven experience in financial planning, staffing, and resource allocation within a local government setting or regulatory environment.
- Proven experience in data and analytics and reporting.
