Working closely with architects, solution designers, ICT teams, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and vendors, you will help ensure NESA's technology platforms are secure, resilient and aligned with organisational and government standards.

- Supporting deployments, upgrades, patching, backups and incident resolution activities.
- Maintaining cloud configurations, operational procedures and technical documentation.
- Collaborating with architects, ICT teams, MSPs and vendors to support service delivery and operational outcomes.
- Supporting the integration of cloud services with core infrastructure components including Active Directory, Windows and Linux servers, networking and storage.
- Assisting with the testing, validation and operational handover of new and enhanced cloud services.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong foundations in infrastructure technologies, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, networking, storage, and backup solutions.
- Hands-on experience working across hybrid environments that integrate cloud and on-premises services.
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance and compliance principles, with a focus on secure and reliable service delivery.
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising cloud environments for performance, availability and cost.
- The ability to work collaboratively with architects, ICT teams, vendors and managed service providers to deliver business outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in NSW Government or other regulated environments will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to both AWS and Azure cloud platforms will be highly regarded.
Essential Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology and/or industry experience in related field.
Note: A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment is required before commencing in this role. It is not required at the application stage. The cost of the WWCC clearance is the responsibility of the successful applicant.
