As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll deliver a high-quality, innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of children from birth to six years, while working in a supportive and collaborative team environment. What you will do:
- Deliver safe, high-quality care and education for children from birth to six years
- Support the planning and delivery of educational programs tailored to children’s individual needs
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families, supporting their daily experiences
- Actively supervise children and maintain a safe, secure and inclusive environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to support quality practice, policies and continuous improvement
What you'll bring/what we are looking for
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent qualification
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework
- Ability to maintain clear written records and contribute to documentation relating to children’s learning and development
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Understanding of mandatory reporting requirements and awareness of the diverse cultural needs of families
Pre-employment requirements
- CPR / First Aid
- Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (Previously known as a police check)
- Current Working with Children’s Check
We offer:
- A fixed-term, full-time role with a monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO)
- Parental leave cover to 16 May 2027
- Salary range $70,306.14 - $73.767.30 per annum plus super (dependent on experience)
