What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Passion for providing excellent clinical care to their community as a Senior Medical Officer
Experience in delivering quality care in primary care and emergency department environments, across a variety of acuity and care needs.
Knowledge and practical application of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards through the delivery of safe and quality focussed patient centred care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills across a variety of settings including in an emergency.

Mandatory Requirements:

Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
Possession of a medical degree registered or eligible for general registration with AHPRA.
Possession of Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) +/- FARGP or Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) will be highly regarded.
