About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer or Associate with 2-5 years’ PAE to join our General Insurance team. This busy litigation practice works across complex and sensitive public liability matters, including historical sexual abuse claims. This role will see you managing files end-to-end including taking initial instructions, preparing advices, appearing at mediations, settlement conferences and court proceedings.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will be an admitted lawyer with 2-5 years’ PAE, ideally with experience in insurance litigation or related practice areas. We are looking for someone who is confident running their own files (under the guidance and with the support of a Partner) while also contributing to larger, strategically significant claims. You will have strong written and verbal advocacy skills and be comfortable engaging with clients, experts, opposing solicitors and witnesses. You also thrive in environments requiring sensitivity and sound judgement, particularly where matters involve vulnerable parties and/or complex stakeholder relationships.
