The Role
As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the governance, lifecycle management and reliability of electrical and control system assets across our Australian emulsion manufacturing and field services facilities. This role provides technical leadership to ensure electrical safety, compliance with Australian standards, and secure, reliable OT control systems.
You will partner closely with operations, maintenance, HSE and project teams, providing expert technical support and driving improvements in electrical safety, asset reliability and process control performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide electrical governance and ensure compliance with Australian standards and company engineering requirements
Manage lifecycle, reliability and risk of electrical, instrumentation and OT control system assets
Provide expert technical support to operations, maintenance and capital projects
Oversee electrical safety and electrical risk management across sites
Support OT cybersecurity and network integrity for process control systems
Drive continuous improvement through optimisation of control systems and introduction of new technologies
What you’ll bring

Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer status or ability to obtain (RPEQ / CPEng)
Strong experience in electrical systems, instrumentation and control within industrial or manufacturing environments
Demonstrated capability in electrical safety, asset management and technical governance
Experience with OT control systems, instrumentation, process control and cybersecurity principles
Experience with Rockwell Automation control systems, SCADA, and PLC programming
Ability to meet requirements for unsupervised access to Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate
