About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Mental Health Recovery Support Workers to join our team.

In this role, you will provide recovery-focused, person-centred, and trauma-informed support to residents, promoting independence, wellbeing, and community participation.

The successful applicant will be full time with a salary of $70K to $80K per annum + Superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities
Support social outings and recreational activities
Provide emotional support and companionship
Assist with meals, medication support, and cleaning duties
Monitor and report changes in residents’ wellbeing
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team handovers
Assessing clients' needs and planning, developing and implementing educational, training and support programs

What You Will Bring

Essential Requirements

Experience in mental health or support work
Diploma in a related field of study
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Driver’s Licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance

Desired Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of recovery-focused and trauma-informed care
Ability to work independently and within a team
