As the Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS) Sales Specialist, you’ll take ownership of identifying and closing new business opportunities for our cardiovascular ultrasound portfolio. You’ll work closely with hospitals and healthcare providers, building strong relationships across clinical, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
This is a hands-on, field-based role where success comes from understanding customer needs, navigating complex hospital environments, and delivering solutions that improve both clinical outcomes and operational performance.
About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and commercially astute CVUS Sales Specialist to join GE HealthCare, supporting growth across your assigned territory in Australia/New Zealand.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of identifying and closing new business opportunities for our cardiovascular ultrasound portfolio. You’ll work closely with hospitals and healthcare providers, building strong relationships across clinical, procurement, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Territory & Sales Management

Develop and execute a clear territory plan, prioritising high-value accounts and growth areas

Manage the full sales cycle — from initial engagement, product demonstration through to contract, installation, and follow-up

Deliver against quarterly and annual sales & territory coverage targets
Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiologists, sonographers, department heads, procurement teams, and executives

Act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their clinical and business needs

Develop a network of key opinion leaders within your territory
Consultative Sales & Product Positioning

Present GE HealthCare ultrasound solutions in a way that clearly demonstrates clinical and commercial value

Tailor messaging to suit different audiences — from frontline clinicians to C-suite stakeholders

Confidently respond to technical and clinical queries
Tenders & Complex Sales

Lead tender submissions and formal procurement processes across both public and private hospital systems, collaborating with internal GE Healthcare staff for support

Qualify opportunities, manage pricing, and drive deals through to close

Navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making environments
Customer Support & Team Collaboration

Partner with Clinical Applications Specialists to deliver product demonstrations, training, and go-live support

Ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through to implementation

Work collaboratively with internal teams across service, marketing, and commercial functions
Industry Presence

Represent GE HealthCare at industry events, conferences, and workshops in your assigned region and occasionally at National events.
About You
You’re a motivated, relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You’re comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and know how to influence decisions through a consultative approach.
You’re proactive, adaptable, and able to work autonomously across a geographically distributed territory.
Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Proven experience in healthcare or medical device sales, ideally within capital equipment

Strong understanding of ANZ hospital procurement processes, including public and private sector tenders

Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder (clinical team through to procurement and C-suite stakeholders) sales cycles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts

Experience selling technical or clinical solutions
Preferred Experience
- Experience in cardiac ultrasound or cardiovascular environments

Clinical background (e.g. sonography, nursing, cardiac technician)
