Join St Cecilia's Long Day Care and Kindergarten as our next Centre Director and lead a beautiful 49-place boutique service in the heart of Hamilton.

Enjoy a warm, home-like environment with high ceilings, French doors, and timber floors, alongside well-resourced learning spaces, a spacious outdoor area (mud kitchen & veggie garden), and fresh meals prepared daily by our on-site cook.

You’ll be supported by an experienced on-site leadership team, so you can focus on what matters—leading with purpose and inspiring excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Child Protection Training as required
First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification
Willingness to serve as Nominated Supervisor
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards
Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
Experience in childcare service management
Proficient in computer skills, including childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
