Domestic Assistant - WG4 - Maddington and Surrounds - WA

We’re recruiting experienced Domestic Assistants a permanent part‑time role (65 hours per fortnight), needed Monday–Friday between 8:00am and 3:00pm.

Applicants must live in Beckenham, Kenwick, Langford, Lynwood, Maddington, Orange Grove, Thornlie, Wattle Grove.

Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.

$32.86 per hour + super.
Travel allowance of $1.03 per k/m.
Provided with a mobile phone for work purposes.
17.5% annual leave loading and excess leave cash out options.
4-6 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year.

What we’re looking for

3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.

The role

Provide high‑quality support that promotes client independence.
Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.
Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients’ homes.
Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.
Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
