About The Role
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team at our Stapylton, QLD facility (Logan / Northern Gold Coast).
This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Warehouse Manager. You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods, including regular forklift operation, while maintaining high standards across safety, quality, and housekeeping.
Your Work Pattern Will Include
- 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Overtime available as required
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse
- Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse materials and products
- Pick and prepare orders accurately from delivery notes and picking slips
- Receive and check all incoming freight
- Load distribution vehicles safely and securely, identifying any errors or damages
- Ensure all outgoing goods meet site quality standards and requirements
- Maintain stock rotation using FIFO principles
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory counting
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse
Safety & Quality
- Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures, including safe forklift operation
- Report incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly
- Support a positive and proactive safety culture
- Adhere to food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and GMP
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- Orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time
- Forklift operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with site procedures
- Safety procedures are followed consistently
- The warehouse remains clean, organised, and efficient
- Strong teamwork and communication across the site
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Current forklift licence with demonstrated operating experience
- Experience with dispatch, picking, and inventory processes
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience using warehouse systems or Microsoft Office
- Exposure to food manufacturing or GMP environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who can work both collaboratively and independently
- Willingness to participate in shift work if required
