Mobile Service Technician – Electric Vehicle Charging & Battery Systems

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Service Technician to join our Sydney-based service team.

This role is suited to a technically capable professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting advanced electric vehicle charging systems and battery technologies across client sites.

You will operate autonomously in the field while contributing to a professional team environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of electric vehicle chargers and lead-acid/lithium battery systems
Respond to service calls and diagnose faults at customer sites
Carry out repairs using parts and equipment supplied in your service vehicle
Conduct on-site diagnostics using technical manuals and fault-finding tools
Accurately complete service reports and documentation via mobile service applications
Adhere to all site-specific and company safety procedures and policies
Build strong, professional relationships with customers through clear communication and high service standards

Mandatory Requirements

Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Valid Forklift Licence
Ability to work autonomously with strong time management skills
Electrical trade qualification or relevant hands-on technical experience
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capability
Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented mindset
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Ability to pass a medical assessment
Full working rights in Australia

Desirable Experience

Experience with industrial batteries or EV charging systems
Electrical, electronic, or mechanical background
Existing ASIC card
