A Day in the Life

We are seeking a Principal Ecologist with a passion for Queenslands flora to join our Brisbane team.

This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Helping to drive the Queensland based ecology projects with strong flora expertise

Being responsible for leading and delivering complex ecological assessments

Desigining and implementing targeted flora survey programs

Preparing technical reports, impact assessments and offset strategies

Mentoring junior ecologists

Contributing to business development and project strategies

Your Expertise and Skills

These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.

Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science or related field

10+ years experience in consulting within a strong flora focused role

In-depth knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth ecological legislation

Demonstrated experience leading field surveys and delivering quality reports
