Your new team:
The Core Platform Services Delivery team sits within Auto & General's Technology division, driving the agile delivery of technology solutions that power our insurance products and operations. We're a collaborative, high-performing team focused on seamless execution, continuous improvement, and enabling the business to move fast without compromising quality. Our work is central to A&G's ambition to be Australia's best insurer — and we're looking for a passionate Delivery Lead to help us get there.

As a Delivery Lead, you'll be at the heart of our technology delivery — championing agile practices, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring we deliver high-quality solutions on time and aligned to business goals. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where your influence, leadership, and delivery expertise will directly shape outcomes across the team.
-
Lead end-to-end agile delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards
-
Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
-
Empower self-organising teams by removing impediments and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
-
Engage with stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners to understand priorities and manage expectations
-
Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies, escalating where appropriate
-
Define, track, and report on delivery metrics and KPIs to senior management and stakeholders
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using feedback loops, retrospectives, and data-driven insights
-
Support APRA compliance obligations, contributing to risk management frameworks, policies, and reporting
-
Assist with APRA audits and examinations, operating within A&G's Code of Conduct at all times
What experience you'll bring:
-
Proven experience as a Delivery Lead within an agile environment
-
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (highly regarded)
-
Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
-
Demonstrated ability to lead agile transformation initiatives and embed agile ways of working
-
Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and release management
-
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels
-
Experience working in APRA-regulated environments or similar compliance-focused settings (advantageous)
-
Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or equivalent (preferred)
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
