About Us

Rikaro Global P/L trading as Rikaro is a growing retail business specialising in curated fashion and accessories. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service through well-managed retail operations. Due to business expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Manager to lead our store operations in Melbourne, Victoria.

Role Summary

The Retail Manager plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates the overall operations of the retail establishment, ensuring efficient store performance, customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets in line with organisational objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Plan, organise, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the retail store.

· Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance to ensure effective store operations.

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximise profitability.

· Monitor stock levels, coordinate purchasing, and ensure appropriate inventory control systems are maintained.

· Ensure high standards of customer service are delivered and resolve customer complaints effectively.

· Analyse sales figures, financial reports and market trends to inform business decisions.

· Maintain store presentation, merchandising standards and promotional displays.

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, company policies and legal requirements.

· Control budgets, manage expenses and prepare financial reports for senior management.

· Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to support operational efficiency and product availability.

Selection Criteria

· Relevant Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business or related field.

· At least one to two years of relevant work experience in retail management or supervisory role.

· Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management and sales performance analysis.

· Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

· Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

· Bilingual skills (desirable)
